The Hurst Bowls & Beer Festival 2026

Hurstpierpoint Bowling Club annual Bowls and Beer event will be held on Sunday 26th July 2026 at the bowling green, South Avenue, BN6 9QB.​

Come along for a fun day of Bowls, beers, burgers and banter.

The idea of the day is to introduce lawn bowls to new players in the village.

The event starts at 11am and aims to finish by 5pm.

At 11am there is time to pick your woods and practice before the day starts proper at noon.

Teams of three people play a series of games in a fun non serious competition.

Club members will skipper each team and are on hand to help and guide new players.

There are breaks between each game to discuss tactics over a beer and burger.

The cost is £5.00 per player (£15.00 per team) payable on the day.

Trainers or flat soled shoes must be worn.
