The Bob Mitchell Pro-Am Business Supporters Cup explained

 

The competition was inaugurated by the late Bob Mitchell to give the Club’s business supporters the opportunity to play bowls with the help of experienced club members.

 

The  competing teams are made up of 2 “amateurs” from the supporter's organisation and 2 “Pros” from the Club. 

 

To ensure impartiality, the order of play, the ‘Pro’ skips and rinks are decided by a draw.  

 

Each team will play a number of games taking about 2 hours. The winning team will be the one who wins the most games and has the highest positive shot difference.

 

The presentation of the cup to the winner will be at the end of play .
