The Bob Mitchell Pro-Am Business Supporters Cup explained

 

The competition gives the Club’s business supporters the chance to play bowls against each other, but with the benefit of playing alongside and with the help of experienced club members. 

The  competing teams will be made up of 2 “amateurs” from the supporter's organisation and 2 “Pros” from the Club. 

To ensure impartiality, the order of play, the ‘Pro’ skips and rinks will be decided by a draw at 4.30.  

 

Each team will play 3 or 4 games of 4 ends, taking about 2 hours, starting at 5.30pm. The winning team will be the one who wins the most games and has the highest positive shot difference. 

The presentation of the cup to the winner will be at the end of play at about 7.45pm.
