Short Mat Bowls

Short Mat sessions will be organised on Wednesday, Thursday (morning and afternoon) and Friday evening and will commence on:

 

Wednesday 1st October 10am - 12pm and afternoon 2pm - 4pm

 

Thursday   2nd October 10am - 12pm and afternoon 2pm - 4pm

 

Friday       3rd October at 6pm - This is restricted to 16 players, with 10 ends finishing at 7pm.

Please note:- There will be a sheet on the board for you to enter your name if you wish to play. This is to ensure the playing number of 16 is not exceeded.

 

This will be followed by a social evening for players. Other members who are not playing are more than welcome to attend AFTER 7pm. but not before due to limited space whilst play is underway.

It is great fun and a good way to keep in touch with people throughout the winter.

 

A couple of local clubs have asked if we are interested in playing friendly matches during the winter. If you are interested, please let me know.

 

I also wondered if anyone would like an in-house competition? Maybe in the New Year when the 'new to short mat' bowlers have had a chance to perfect their game. 

 

I hope to see all you established bowlers return in October and look forward to welcoming  the new members ready to take on the challenge 'of the block'!
